STUDI TINGKAT PELAYANAN ANGKUTAN UMUM PENUMPANG (AUP) MIKROLET DI KABUPATEN POLEWALI MANDAR

Abstract

Public transportation is a means of transportation that is currently still widely used in urban areas because it is easily accessible at a fairly affordable cost. Therefore, as a means of transportation that is relied on by the public to support their activities, public transportation must have good service quality. This study aims to determine the operational performance of Microbus Passenger Public Transport (AUP) in Wonomulyo District, Polewali Mandar Regency. To determine passenger perceptions of the quality of microbus public transport services in Wonomulyo District, Polewali Mandar Regency. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Based on the data obtained from the performance of public passenger transport (AUP) from the Static Survey for the Wonomulyo-Polewali route, frequency 3 vehicles/hour, the value 1 category is lacking, it has not reached the specified standard, the load factor value 3 is in accordance with the standard determined by the Land Transportation Service, namely less of 70%, the headway is 29.00 minutes, the category is less because it has not met the standard because the specified standard is less than 10 minutes, for a service time of 13 hours, the category is moderate because it has not reached the specified standard, namely 15 hours. the quality of service obtained from the Wonomulyo-Polewali and Wonomulyo-Tinambung routes is 85.5% from the safety aspect while from the security aspect 73.12% from the comfort aspect is obtained 71.12% from the affordability aspect is obtained 77.44% from the service aspect obtained by 64.24%, this indicates that the use of public transportation in Polewali Mandar Regency is already in the agreed category regarding aspects of safety, security, comfort, affordability, equality.
