Abstract


PT. X  is a company engaged in the construction sector. PT. X company activities produce products in the form of crushed stone processing. Newly broken production activities certainly have complex potential hazards, so this research aims to determine the potential hazards in the work process and provide action or prevention to minimize the potential risks. The most frequently used identification of potential hazards in the work environment is using the job safety analysis (JSA) method. This type of research is qualitative descriptive research. The result of this study indicates that in every work process, there is a potential for danger. In the dump truck process of dumping rocks into the rock crusher bowl (hooper feeder) and in the rock crushing process. The potential dangers that occur include exposure to noise and exposure to dust.  Actions to minimize potential dangers to workers: using PPE, not working if sick, creating a safe work location, installing warnings about the dangers of accidents in the workplace, implementing SOP correctly in the workplace, routine maintenance, and maintain the cleanliness of the work site
